anyway, as i've mentioned in the tag board, our old pc is terminally ill. it keeps on restarting. it has some weird hardware problems that even the guy at the computer store couldn't fix. so, dad decided to finally chuck the old one out and buy a new one. we had to wait for a couple of weeks before they decided to buy one though. that meant 'squatting' on other people's computers just so we could have our homework done.
i feel better that we have a new computer at home. i felt really anxious in the two weeks that we didn't have one. imagine this: no internet and no late night cramming for papers due the following day. *shudder* never could i imagine our house without a pc. everybody goes crazy, feeling like it's the end of the world. dad gets antsy because he can't check the stock market everyday, wynman goes crazy because he has papers to submit, junjun is dazed because he can't do his daily ritual of online gaming, and i feel panicked coz i can't go online to do some last minute research just when i most need the information. thankfully, that's all over now. we have a brand spankin' new one that we hope will last us for five years. it is THAT good, the features won't be out-of-date for many years to come.
so thanks, mom and dad for buying the new pc and saving us all. and thanks, Visa Platinum for providing mom and dad the ability to buy the wonderful new pc.
