Our Official Photographer

A few weeks ago, we met with Danielle Gillett, this awesome wedding photographer, and fell in love with her work. We hired her, of course. Here's a sample photo that I borrowed from Danielle's blog:


Check out her website for more photos. So magazine-worthy! We're so excited to have her as our wedding photographer, we can't wait for our engagement photo session! (I scheduled it in May. Boohoo, I still have to wait 5 more months). We already picked out our wedding album, it's like a coffee-table book, with a magazine-style layout. The package we chose includes:

• full day coverage
• 2 photographers
• engagement session
• 50 wallet-size from engagement session
• wedding album
• guest book
• 2 parent albums (mini version of ours)
• online hosting
• custom slideshow from wedding played at reception
• DVD of images

We made a list of our top 10 budget priorities, and we decided venue, photographer, and music were our top 3 (in that order). Why? We both felt we wanted to throw a really fun party in a fantastic place and have it all captured in a fantastic album. Of course, we splurged on our photographer.
